Coming up here in the Spooner Ag Research Station.

We are going to be having coffee in the garden.

And we did this event back in July.

It was very popular.

Great attendance.

Our master gardener, Lori, was sharing tips on gardening in this area, including tips on how to prune your tomatoes, how to trellis your tomatoes, managing cucumbers.

So in September we'll be bringing that back because people enjoyed it so much.

each Wednesday throughout the month of September, topics will include how to close down your garden for the winter time, talking about mulching, talking about how do we prepare for next year in our short growing season, and having a master gardener on staff here has been absolutely amazing.

Everyone here at the station is very motivated to bring children back into the station and teach them about where their food comes from, and having experts available to share that information with the community and reinvigorate the station has been absolutely amazing.

Being part of UW Madison, we are all about education and part of education is research.

So what we can do for our for the future of agriculture here, researching ways to grow things better, to change the things that we are growing to improve soils.

All of those things are services we can offer here.

And what we're doing is maintaining the culture of northern Wisconsin.

This the farmers that work here, the farmers that have had their families here, are continuing to learn and grow from the from the work that we do here.
